Main St. We are just one minute off of I-94 (Exit 159), making us easily accessible from Ann Arbor, Dexter, and Jackson. We offer ample, free parking right outside the entrance for all of your guests. Our prime location and easy parking make us the ideal private event space in the area.

We offer transparent, straightforward hourly rental rates to fit your budget.

• Monday through Thursday: $99 per hour (no minimum)
• Friday and Sunday: $149 per hour (no minimum)
• Saturday: $199 per hour (no minimum)

A one-time $50 cleaning fee is added to all party bookings. This simple pricing ensures you only pay for the time you need for your private event space rental.

Your hourly rate provides you with exclusive access to the entire 1,400 sq. ft. party loft, including:

• Tables, chairs, and linens (seating for up to 40)
• A professional sound system with a microphone
• DJ party lights and an illuminated disco ball for the dance floor
• Our popular 360° Video Booth with props (a value of over $500!)
• A fun Audio Guestbook and greenery photo wall
• Access to our prep kitchen and private in-suite restroom

No, absolutely not! When you book with Chelsea Party Loft, you get exclusive use of the entire venue.

• Private & Exclusive: Unlike a "party room" in a public venue, your guests will enjoy a truly private event space with no other parties, guests, or public access during your reserved time.
• V.I.P. Experience: We guarantee a secure and intimate atmosphere for a genuine V.I.P. experience for your birthday party, baby shower, or corporate meeting near Ann Arbor.

You and your guests will have the entire modern loft and all of its amenities—including the 360° Video Booth and sound system—to yourselves.

Our versatile Chelsea party venue can comfortably accommodate up to 50 guests in a standing reception style. For events with seating, such as baby showers or business meetings, we can seat up to 40 guests with our provided tables and chairs.

Yes! We offer complete flexibility with food and beverage options. You are welcome to bring your own food, hire an outside caterer, or have food delivered right to our door. This policy gives you total control over your event menu and budget at our private event space.

Under Michigan law, guests are allowed to bring their own alcohol provided they do not sell it. Anyone who plans to consume alcohol on the premises should be prepared to show a valid ID with date of birth. For large events, we recommend hiring a licensed mobile bartender.    

We have a private prep area that includes a sink. Guests are welcome to bring chafing dishes, hot plates, or other equipment needed for their food options. 

Absolutely! You are encouraged to customize our loft to match your event theme. You may hang signs and banners using painter's tape or 3M Command Hooks. To protect our modern space, we do not allow glitter, confetti, silly string, or confetti-filled balloons.

No. While we do not provide a DJ, guests are welcome to use our high-quality professional sound system to play their own music via phone, laptop, or any other method. This gives you complete control over the playlist for your Chelsea party venue event.

Yes! We provide a suite of state-of-the-art presentation technology and customizable seating options to ensure your meetings, workshops, and presentations run flawlessly.

We ensure you have everything needed for a seamless, professional, and productive gathering for your team or clients from Chelsea, Ann Arbor, Dexter, Jackson, and Grass Lake.

Please note that all deposits are non-refundable. Our updated policy regarding cancellations is as follows:

• Cancellations with 30+ Days' Notice: If you cancel your event at least 30 days prior to the scheduled start time, your deposit will be held as a credit. This credit can be applied toward a future date, subject to availability.
• Cancellations with Less Than 30 Days' Notice: Cancellations made within 30 days of the event are not eligible for a refund or a credit transfer.

Yes. Chelsea Party Loft is located on the first floor of a shopping center with no steps or stairs. In addition, there are handicapped parking spaces right outside our door, and ADA-compliant bathrooms in our common area. 

Chelsea Party Loft is committed to sustainability by using washable utensils and linens to minimize landfill waste and contribute to a cleaner planet for future generations. Additionally, we prioritize purchasing pre-owned furniture and equipment from local businesses, further reducing our environmental footprint.
